Accumulation of Unaccountable Awakenings is the world premiere of a new collaboration between Barcelona’s acclaimed Iron Skulls Co. and South African dance maker Tebby Ramasike. Created during a JOMBA! Artists in Residence programme, the work explores the body as a space of memory, resistance, healing, and transformation. Blending Iron Skulls Co.’s distinctive theatrical breakdance style with Ramasike’s Afro-Butoh dance-making, the production creates a powerful and physical dialogue between contemporary urban movement and ritual performance. This exciting international collaboration promises a visually striking and thought-provoking contemporary dance experience.
