Motlalepula finds herself faced with a mythical creature (Kganyapa i.e. Water Snake). Through her engagement with Kganyapa she discovers her talents for restoring dignity between humans and water creatures. The little girl (Motlalepula) leads the search for Kganyapa’s egg. The missing egg of Kganyapa has caused it to retaliate with thunderstorms, floods and keeping Thabiso under the sea, putting the lives of humans and animals in danger. Through her encounters with Kganyapa, Motlalepula takes it upon herself to help find the missing egg of Kganyapa.
