From Hanover Street: commemorating 60 years, is a powerful concert honouring the people and stories of District Six. Once alive with music, culture, and everyday life, District Six was home to vibrant streets, with Hanover Street at its centre. On 11th February 1966, the forced removals began, changing countless lives forever. Sixty years later, this production brings together music, performance, and storytelling to remember what was lost and to celebrate the spirit, creativity, and culture that continue to inspire generations today.
