GLENWOOD MIX TAPE - 2024

Glenwood High is proud to present this year’s cultural event for 2024: GLENWOOD MIX TAPE
The 1990s was a decade that saw the rise of grunge music, the explosion of hip-hop, and the emergence of the boy band phenomenon. We also discovered a whole new world of magical things like cell phones, e-mailing and the internet.
That was over 30 years ago, so we think it’s time to take you back to the 90s to pay tribute to that time of brick-sized cell phones, X-files, Baywatch and the Rugby World Cup of 1995.

So let’s revisit that time for an evening of nostalgia in this high-energy musical revue which will draw on talented singers, dancers and actors from our neighbouring girl’s schools as well as our boys from Glenwood. Also on the bill are the incredible choir from Glenwood Junior Primary who impressed so much at our last production, Glenwood Family Meeting, in 2022.
Highlights of the show include songs from the iconic Whitney Houston, Boys to Men, Britany Spears, Nirvana, Robbie Williams and The Spice Girls.
Look out for class performances from the Glenwood Grade 8s, as well as a few other surprise appearances.
