Over 1500 dancers, from 28 dance studios, will be dancing their hearts out at the 41st edition of the Port Elizabeth Dance Festival. The Festival's Gala Celebration will feature the performance highlights of the 10-day Festival, as well as the Awards Presentation on Saturday, 27 August from 19h00 – 22h00. Guests will be entertained by well- known presenter Carol-Anne Kelleher, and James van der Merwe.
The prestigious Port Elizabeth Festival, which was founded in 1981, hosts every dance form including ballet, contemporary / modern, tap, hip-hop, Spanish, Indian, Irish, African, fusion / free movement / ballroom dancing, cheerleading and adaptive dance (freestyle).
