Tshwane Youth Arts Festival

The Tshwane Youth Arts Festival, founded in 1994, is presented each year on the Opera Stage of the State Theatre and runs over a period of 30 days giving more than 190 schools in the greater Gauteng and surrounding areas the opportunity of participating. This Festival inspires children of diverse cultures to make a difference in their lives never to be forgotten. Our youth, through the Tshwane Youth Arts Festival, are given the opportunity of expressing themselves and representing their school, in a variety of the Arts disciplines. They are passionate about what they do and the way they go about doing it.
