Businessman Raymond Kruger (Antony Coleman) and his wife, Wellness & Beauty Shop Owner Faith Dlamini (Lerato Mvelase) are in the process of emigrating to Canada. As the only child of a single parent, Faith has tackled the issues of loss and separation head on. Raymond’s situation is entirely different. He and his abusive father, Vaughn (Paul Slabolepszy), a 1970s SA Border War veteran living in a retirement village, have not spoken to each other in over twenty years. Faith convinces her husband to reach out and make peace with an old man nearing the end of his life. BORDERLINE deals with complex family relationships.
