A time of struggle, and raised during the hope for changes, both MXO and SLIQ ANGEL grew from Xhosa origins to become acclaimed musician into an effervescent time.

The Sliq Angel and MXO, through their common passion and respect for their heritage and their souls, had to join into the Roots 2000 project, to give birth to new sounds, now ready to be heard and understood by the awaiting world.
