Cape Town Steelband Festival

The Cape Town Steelband Festival is a joint venture between the Cape Town Big Band Jazz Festival and the Steelband Project.

The Steelband Project (Western Cape) was set up in 1997 by Liz Brouckaert and David Wickham. The core focus of the project is to provide quality music education to young people, with a particular focus on youth in under-resourced communities and "youth-at-risk". The project is active in many suburban, township and rural areas.

Student and Scholar tickets only available through the box office on presentation of a valid student card.
