Roland Dahinden was the assistant of Anthony Braxton at Wesleyan University, Connecticut (1992 – 95), and has since worked on numerous projects and concerts, including 7 CD recordings.
Hildegard Kleeb recorded the solo piano music of Braxton for a 4-CD-Edition on Hat Hut Recording - Basel.
They will be joined by South African percussion guru Thebe Lipere who has also worked with John Cage and finally we have the South African bassist, Carlo Mombelli, who has previously toured Europe with the duo and has also performed extensively in Europe with the likes of Lee Konitz, Egberto Gismonti and Charlie Mariano, and leads his own project called the Stories Ensemble.
