Impact No. 2 is a pioneering collaboration between Tshwane Dance Theatre and Moving Into Dance Mophatong.
These companies present six new works, five of them by female choreographers: Laura Cameron (Fragments), Liyabuya Gongo (My Place), Ipeleng Merafe (Mobile inertia), Asanda Rudah (Kemet) and Thenjiwe Soxokoshe ((koSoKU(straightjacket).
The odd man out is Eugene Mashiane (Discovery). The programme also include a rare performance of Oscar Buthelezi's Road, recent winner of the Kurt Jooss prize for choreography in Essen, Germany.
